Hello, I'm Caranita.
I am specialized in Christian-based Family Counseling, with years of experience training people in active listening. I have dedicated my career to teaching the art of listening to doctors, nurses, teachers, and counselors, witnessing its effectiveness in improving communication and interpersonal bonds.
My approach to active listening has proven to be extremely powerful in individual, couples, and family counseling sessions. I help people openly discuss their emotions, understand others' feelings, and build stronger, more authentic relationships. I firmly believe that active listening is the key to resolving conflicts and creating genuine connections.
My understanding of relational dynamics is enriched by my theological education and personal life experiences, including the transition from the United States to Italy and dealing with my husband's chronic illnesses. These experiences have taught me the importance of listening to and embracing others' emotions, strengthening bonds with those close to us.
My Mission: Strengthening Bonds Through Listening
In my work, I have seen how active listening can transform relationships. Therefore, I help my clients to:
- Recognize and understand their own emotions.
- Truly listen to others.
- Respond empathetically and constructively.
- Build relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
My Commitment to Complex Losses
In addition to my specialization in active listening, I have advanced training in dealing with complex and ambiguous losses. I have studied with Pauline Boss, an authority on unresolved loss, and have helped many individuals navigate conflicting feelings of grief, hope, and uncertainty.
If you need counseling to improve your communication and strengthen your family bonds or are dealing with complex losses and seeking emotional balance, I am here to offer my support and guidance.
